Ann Hathaway Peters, Executive Director

Ann Hathaway Peters has been the Executive Director of Lamprey Health Care since 1979. Ms. Peters earned her Master of Science degree from the Harvard School of Public Health and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Hampshire. Ms. Peters is a Primary Care Policy Fellow. In 2001, she received Speaking for Women's Health® First Annual Award. Ms. Peters received the National Board Chair Award from the National Association of Community Health Centers in 1999 and the Outstanding Executive Director's Award, New England Community Health Center Association in 1991.

Ms. Peters is a member of several board of directors, including the board of the Endowment for Health, the board of the United Way of the Greater Seacoast, the board of Piscataqua Savings Bank, and the board of the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC). She is a member of the Dean's Leadership Counsel for the School of Health and Human Services and the Dean's Executive Committee for the Whittemore School of Business at the University of New Hampshire. She is Vice President of the Bi-State Primary Care Association board of directors.

Ms. Peters has been a leader in securing access to care for prenatal patients and for basic health care for all. She is widely recognized and respected as a strong leader among the many human service agencies in New Hampshire.
