From the beginning, Lamprey Health Care has enjoyed the generous support of local citizens and businesses. Through several capital campaigns, community leadership has enabled us to build and expand our welcoming, well-equipped medical centers.

Our Annual Fund Campaign is conducted to raise funds to help cover the cost of providing care to uninsured patients. Each donation elevates Lamprey Health Care's ability to be a leader in community health by enhancing affordable access to high quality health care and ensuring healthier outcomes for all patients. Capital Campigns are conducted to help pay for capital improvements to our three medical facilities. Our last Capital Campaign was successfully completed in 2006, and supported the expansion of our Newmarket Center.
In June of 2011, Lamprey Health Care will kick off it's 4th Capital Campaign fund drive to raise funds for the relocation and expansion of our Nashua Center. With a 27% growth in patients from 2008-2010, the current Nashua facility is at capacity with no room to expand and meet the needs of the Nashua Community. This relocation and expansion project will increase our patient capacity by 2,500 over the next three years, with addition exam rooms, larger waiting areas for both adults and children, and enhanced programs and services for patients. Held each year in August, our Annual 5K Road Race benefits Reach Out and Read, an early literacy program that promotes a love of reading among our young patients and their families. For more information, or to register for this year's Annual 5k Road Race, click here.
Every December Lamprey Health Care conducts various Holiday Programs, with our most successful being Operation Santa Claus. Working with local community members & business, Lamprey Health Care collects and distributes gifts, food and clothing to Newmarket families – ensuring happy holidays for every child and family.
Reach Out and Read is an early literacy program that promotes reading, education and a lifetime love of books. Each pediatric patient at Lamprey Health Care, from 6 months to 5 years of age, receives a new age appropriate book at every routine check up to encourage early literacy among parents and children.
