Lamprey Health Care is currently undergoing a Capital Campaign to support its mission of providing affordable health care to the uninsured and under-served. The total cost for the Nashua Center Expansion and Renovation project is $4.7 million. The Capital Campaign will aim to raise the remaining funds from the Nashua Community, and will be used to purchase medical equipment and supplies for the new Nashua Center, enhancing the delivery of affordable, high quality health care.
The Capital Campaign for the Nashua Center has raised $4.2 milion to date through a variety of sources. Lamprey Health Care was awarded a $2.15 million American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Grant by the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) to support a facility project that will increase patient access to affordable health care. Total Federal Grants received for Lamprey Health Care's Nashua relocation project represent approximately 59% of the total project, and combined with a loan from TD Bank and a Community Benefit grant from Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, has helped us raise nearly 90% of the total project cost to date.
Lamprey Health Care is now looking to our corporate and individual friends to help us raise the remaining balance of $513,000, and we need our Community's support.
Lamprey Health Care has recently announced that it was awarded tax credits which can be made available to corporate donors who choose to support their Capital Campaign. These tax credits may be applied against the business profits tax, insurance premium tax, or the business enterprise tax.
