Lamprey Health Announces New Board Chair


Newmarket -  Lamprey Health Care announces Betty Crepeau as their new Chair of the Lamprey Health Care Board of Directors.  Mrs. Crepeau has been a patient of Lamprey Health Care since 1978, and a resident of Newmarket since 1971 where she lives with husband, Roderick Crepeau. 

 A Graduate of UNH BS in OT, 1966, PhD in Sociology 1994, and Professor Emerita, Occupational Therapy Department, Mrs. Crepeau has worked with Lamprey Health Care providers to develop new services and education models of care addressing the critical health care needs of the homebound elderly.  “Betty Crepeau has been a tremendous asset to our organization for many years and truly represents the leadership behind our growth and excellence,” stated Ann Peters, CEO of Lamprey Health Care.

Professor Crepeau has served as a volunteer board member and Past-President of the Board of Friends of Lamprey Health Care, the purpose of which is to support the mission of Lamprey Health Care of providing members of the community with access to health care, regardless of ability to pay.

Her honors include SHHS Teaching Excellence Award, American Occupational Therapy Meritorious Service Award, Fellow of the American Occupational Therapy Association, and Bi-State Primary Care Association Community Service Award.

 Lamprey Health Care is a nonprofit community health care organization with medical centers in Newmarket, Raymond and Nashua, New Hampshire.  The organization serves the Southern & Seacoast Areas of New Hampshire, and provides primary care & preventive health services to individuals of all ages and incomes, regardless of their ability to pay.
