Our goal is to prevent disease; provide confidential, reliable health information; and encourage our patients to continue taking care of their health.

The Teen-to-Teen Clinic also offers outreach sexuality education to both young people and adults.  Some of the topics covered in these sessions include: abstinence, adolescent sexual development, child development, pregnancy prevention, contraception, preventing STDs/HIV, gender, relationships, positive communication, drug prevention, substance abuse and its effects on parenting, parenting skills, and how to talk to your child/parent about sexuality.

The Teen to Teen Clinic is open every Wednesday from 2:30pm - 6:30pm right at the Nashua Area Health Center.

Early Childhood Development

At our Nashua Center, we offer early childhood development screenings at every well child visit through the Baby Steps Program.  The Baby Steps Program strives to address the need for access to developmental information, support and resource opportunities for vulnerable and high risk families before development and behavioral issues become significant, using developmental screening tools for children, birth through entry into school.

Assessment includes the areas of development, infant mental health, behavior, parent/child relationships, educational readiness and early literacy, and provides information on community based resources that will meet the child and family’s needs, if necessary.
