An obstetrician/gynecologist is a physician who provides medical and surgical care to women, with particular expertise in pregnancy, childbirth, and disorders of the reproductive system. All 3 of our Health Centers have an on-site OB/GYN who works very closely with our family physicians, nurse practitioners and medical assistants.
Along with our family physicians and midwives, our OB/GYNs provide comprehensive women’s health care for all female patients, including high-risk pregnancies and women needing specialized care. They focus on women-specific health care, such as sexual and reproductive care, cervical screenings (PAP test), breast exams, family planning and prenatal care.
