Meet Our Providers

NEWMARKET - ROSE TEAM

Sarah Oxnard, MD
Dr. Oxnard has been a Pediatrician at the Newmarket Office since 1976. She attended Vassar College and the University of Rochester Medical School. After an internship in pediatrics at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, she completed her Pediatric Residency and Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City. Her clinical specialty interests include general pediatrics, cardiology, and behavioral problems.

Barbara Janeway, ARNP
Ms. Janeway has been a Family Nurse Practitioner at Lamprey Health Care since 1980. She graduated from the Yale University School of Nursing. She is licensed to provide health supervision and physical examinations, and to evaluate and treat most common acute and chronic conditions in a primary care setting. Her clinical interests include everyone from babies to great-grandmothers.

Priscilla Merrill, ARNP
Priscilla Merrill is a Family Nurse Practitioner who started at the Newmarket Center in July, 2002 and after a brief absence, returned in December, 2006. Ms. Merrill received her B.S.N. from the Medical College of Virginia and her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of New Hampshire. She has many years of maternal and child health experience, including childbirth education, lactation education, and labor and delivery. Her special interests include pediatrics and women's health.

Rastislav Osadsky, MD
Lamprey Health Care welcomed Dr. Osadsky to the Newmarket Center in August, 2007. Dr. Osadsky graduated from the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic and performed his family medicine residency at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. He has experience in family practice care and an interest in sports and wilderness medicine.

Sirona Pruna, MD, OB-GYN
Lamprey Health Care welcomed Dr. Pruna to the Newmarket Center in April, 2006. Dr. Pruna graduated from the University of Medicine Timisoara, Romania and performed residency programs at University of Medicine Carol Davilla Obstetrics and Gynecology in Romania and University of South Alabama Obstetrics and Gynecology in Mobile, Alabama. She spent over fifteen years practicing in Romania. Her special interests include working with patients with endometriosis and PCOS.

NEWMARKET - GOLD TEAM

Paul Friedrichs, MD (Limited New Patients)
Dr. Friedrichs has been a Family Physician at the Newmarket Office of Lamprey Health Care since 1986. He is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania Medical School. He completed his Family Practice Residency at Brown University. Dr. Friedrichs' special interests include obstetrics and pediatrics, geriatrics, hospital medicine, diabetes and cholesterol management, and preventive medicine.

Amanda Wood-Friend, ARNP
Amanda Wood-Friend is a Nurse Practitioner that joined the Newmarket Center in December 2006. Ms. Wood-Friend received her BA degree from Ithaca College in New York and her Master of Science in Nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston. She has experience treating pediatric, adolescent and adult populations and is a firm believer in promoting healthy lifestyles and prevention of illness in the Seacoast community.

Susan Nichols, PA-C
Susan Nichols joined the Raymond Center in April, 2006. Ms. Nichols received her Physician Assistant Certificate from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and her Bachelor in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts. She has provided primary care and prevention services at the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center in Massachusetts and the Jackson Medical Group in Santa Barbara, California prior to that.

RAYMOND - BLUE TEAM

Mary Ann Johnson, ARNP
Ms. Johnson has been a nurse practitioner at Lamprey Health Care since 1989. She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and the Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Southern Maine. Prior to joining Lamprey Health Care, she had worked as a nurse practitioner in the Seacoast since 1978. Her special interests are pediatrics, adolescent issues, and women's health care.

Katrin Bergeron, MD
Dr. Bergeron joined the staff of Lamprey Health Care in September, 2007. She is a graduate of Brown Medical School and completed her Family Medicine residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine.

RAYMOND - LILAC TEAM

Syed Shujaat Ali, MD
Dr. Ali joined the staff of Lamprey Health Care in July, 2005. He attended the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Aligarh, UP, India and completed residency at Ohio State University Medical Center and Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He is board certified in Family Practice and his clinical interests include sports medicine and geriatrics.

Mary Halleck, PA-C, MHP
Ms. Halleck joined Lamprey Health Care in December 2007. She received her Master of Health Professions from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and her Bachelors Degree from the University of New Hampshire. She has over twenty years of health care experience and enjoys providing primary care to individuals of all ages, including prenatal patients and those with chronic disease.

GREEN TEAM

Sarah Zachos, MD
Dr. Zachos has been a Family Physician at Lamprey Health Care since 1996. She grew up in Manchester, NH and attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Zachos completed a Family Practice Residency at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. After practicing in New Mexico for two years, she spent a year doing a Rural Medicine Fellowship in Tacoma, Washington. She is Board Certified in Family Practice. Her clinical specialty interests are obstetrics and women's health care.

Jeremy James, MD
Dr. James joined Lamprey Health Care in 1996 as a Family Physician doing obstetrics. A graduate of Stanford University, he attended the University of Washington School of Medicine. After completing a Family Medicine Residency at the University of Rochester, Dr. James joined the staff of a Community Health Center in Gallup, New Mexico. Prior to his arrival at Lamprey Health Care, he spent a year at the SeaMar Community Health Center in Seattle as a MATCH Fellow. Dr. James' clinical specialty interests include pediatrics and hospice.

Rosemary Smith, ARNP
Ms. Smith joined Lamprey Health Care in January 1999. She received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from The Pennsylvania State University and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. For 19 years, she was in clinical practice in Dover, NH, working in internal medicine, endocrinology, and gastroenterology practices. Prior to her return to New Hampshire, she was on the faculty of the Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Program in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has also held teaching positions at the University of New Hampshire and Pennsylvania State University and enjoys all aspects of family health care.

NASHUA AREA HEALTH CENTER

Edward Scully, MD
Edward Scully joined Nashua Area Health Center in June 2005. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed his Family Practice residency at Greater Lawrence Family Health Center in Lawrence, Massachusetts where he practiced for eleven years. Dr. Scully speaks Spanish and French.

Carol Manning, ARNP
Carol Manning joined the staff of Nashua Area Health Center in September 2006. She received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire. She is also conversant in medical Spanish and spent time as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Rivier College.

Lauren Marr, ARNP
Lauren Marr has been an Adult Nurse Practitioner at the Nashua Area Health Center since 1994. She is a graduate of Northeastern University's nurse practitioner program. She had internships at Pittsfield Medical Center and Harvard Community Health in Primary Care and at Planned Parenthood of Northern New England in Women?s Health. Ms. Marr's special interests include adolescent and women's health.

Marisa Rowlson, CNM
Marisa Rowlson, Certified Nurse Midwife, joined the Nashua Area Health Center in April 2007. She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania for both Nurse-Midwifery and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. She had internships at The Birth Center in Wilmington, Delaware; Capital Health System at Mercer in Trenton, New Jersey; Healthstart Clinic, Capital Health System at Mercer in Trenton, New Jersey; and Planned Parenthood of Delaware.
