Digna Landry

This month, we meet Digna Landry (she/her), Patient Service Representative Lead at the Nashua, NH center.

Tell us a little about yourself. Where did you grow up? How did you get here?

I grew up in Puerto Plata, the third-largest city in the Dominican Republic located on the North Coast. I moved to the United States at the age of 23 with my husband, looking for a better opportunity.

What do you like most about working at Lamprey Health Care?

I like working at Lamprey Health Care because it has allowed me to grow in my professional career and as a person. Also, because of the relationships I have built with my coworkers.

Did you always want to work in healthcare? What would you do if you weren’t doing this?

Healthcare was not my first option, but I don’t regret changing my career path. If I were not doing this, I would still be a hairdresser. But, I would prefer to be a full-time nanny to my future grandchildren (crossing fingers!)

What are some of your favorite things to do outside of work?

Some of my favorite things to do outside of work are gardening, drinking margaritas, and watching TV shows with my mom.

What advice would you give to others to be healthy?

One piece of advice I would give to others to be healthy is to drink water. Drinking water has helped me stay hydrated and lose weight.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I want to thank Lamprey Health Care and Rossy Lopez for nominating me to be their employee spotlight in the newsletter. It is such an honor. I am so thankful that my hard work has been recognized, and I am motivated to work even harder.
