Lamprey Health Care is pleased to announce the appointment of Laura Valencia to the Leadership Board of the agency. Ms. Valencia holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rivier University in psychology with a minor in social work. She is currently completing a Bachelor’s degree in biology, also at Rivier. She has worked as a Child and Adolescent Case Manager at Greater Nashua Mental Health Center, as well as internships at Webster House and Marguerite’s Place.

Howard, Esq., President of the Board. “Her demonstrated commitment to the community and her professional training and education will be an exciting asset to the organization. Our Board is comprised of community members who share our vision and passion for providing health care to all individuals, regardless of ability to pay. Laura is a perfect match for Lamprey Health Care.” Chief Executive Officer, Gregory White echoed the sentiment. “We look forward to Laura’s input and guidance as we continue to strive to fulfill our mission.”
In addition to her professional background, Ms. Valencia has a commitment to the community as reflected through her volunteer contributions at the Nashua Soup Kitchen, Ledge Street Homework Help, and Titan Pantry. Upon accepting appointment to the Board, Ms. Valencia said, “I am thankful for the opportunity to serve on the board of an organization with such an admirable mission. I hope to serve as a voice for the patients of Lamprey Health Care. In the future, I hope to continue helping people improve their quality of life and well-being as a physician.”
