Why Choose Lamprey Health Care
Focus on Learning
As the oldest nonprofit community health center in New Hampshire, we offer experience in a well-established practice. For over 25 years, we have been precepting students from a variety of health professions. This includes Medical Residents, OB/GYN Residents, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Nursing, and Medical Assistants. Many of our providers have been with us for over 15 years, and are dedicated to our commitment to continuing education.

Integrated Programs
Our practice is committed to an integrated model with an emphasis on care coordination. Programs integrated into our primary care setting include:
- Behavioral health care
- Medication assisted treatment (MAT) services
- Chronic disease care
We offer a valuable learning experience in an NCQA recognized Patient Centered Medical Home. The fellowship is a great opportunity to enhance clinical skills and meet the challenges of a primary care environment.

Regional Partnerships
We work closely with our academic partner, the University of New Hampshire (UNH). As recipients of a competitive $3M grant from the Dept. of Health and Human Services, we’re expanding our regional partnerships. Partners include Project ECHO® in the UNH PACT program, local community mental health agencies, and nurse practitioner practices.
