Lamprey Health Care Co-CEO Joins State Leaders to Discuss Potential Impacts of House-Passed Budget Cuts

Press conference 1

On April 11, Lamprey Health Care’s Co-CEO, Greg White, joined fellow health leaders in Manchester for a press conference addressing concerns about the House-passed state budget and its potential impact on health care across New Hampshire.

Hosted by New Futures and the New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute, the event brought together voices from community health centers, behavioral health providers, and advocacy organizations. Together, they highlighted how proposed funding reductions—particularly to Medicaid and workforce programs—could compromise care access for vulnerable Granite Staters.

“New Hampshire needs Medicaid rate increases, not decreases,” said Greg White. “We need our mental health services to be funded. Granite Staters who live with disabilities need their direct service providers to be paid a living wage. We need workforce initiatives, like the State Loan Repayment Program, to continue to meet the needs of the tens of thousands of patients we serve.”

As the state Senate takes up the budget, Lamprey Health Care remains committed to advocating for strong investments in primary care, behavioral health, and the workforce needed to serve our communities.
