As a federally qualified health center, we can access federal and state loan repayment programs that are not available to traditional practices.

We are also able to process candidates with a J1 or H-1B Visa. Contact our Human Resources Department if you are interested in either of these programs. You can reach Human Resources by calling any of our centers and dialing ext. 7777.

Why Lamprey Health Care

Governor Sununu meets with health center staff

As NH’s first Community Health Center, Lamprey Health Care always been focused on meeting the needs of the communities we serve.

Our centers provide care using the Patient Centered Medical Home model, which puts the patient-provider relationship at the center of care. Physicians and care providers provide integral input in programming and care delivery decisions across the organization. Some of our newest programs, such as Health Care for the Homeless services, Integrated Behavioral Health, and Medication Assisted Treatment for Substance Use Disorder, were championed by providers committed to these areas of care.

Lamprey Health Care is a primary care leader in NH. State officials eager to learn how their policies impact primary care, routinely attend our annual legislative breakfasts. We work closely with Bi-State Primary Care Association, Public Health Associations in our regions, and the Integrated Delivery Networks in our region to advocate for our patients and our care teams.

At Lamprey Health Care, you’ll find opportunities for professional development and pathways to pursue your professional areas of interest.

Why NH

NH, a beautiful place to call home.

You’ll love New Hampshire if you want:

  • to be near the ocean,
  • while also near the mountains,
  • and the City too,
  • and want great schools, scenic beauty, exceptional hospitals, a thriving arts community, low crime rates, and no state sales or income tax.

Phew!

It’s true. It’s no accident that New Hampshire consistently ranks high in national surveys of best places to live. We’ve got all that and more!

Our centers, located in Southern New Hampshire, have the advantage of proximity to three major airports: Boston Logan Airport, Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, and Portland International Airport. We’re just an hour’s drive to Boston and its world-class cultural and medical resources.

We invite you to learn more about New Hampshire and all it has to offer by visiting Visit NH or Stay-Work-Play NH.
