John Anderson, MD
Dr. Anderson joined Lamprey Health Care in 2020 as a board certified pediatrician. He completed his Bachelor of Science and his Doctor of Medicine at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. He takes an enthusiastic and caring approach to every one of his pediatric patients. Dr. Anderson will be seeing patients at our Newmarket and Nashua Center.
OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE: You can often find him enjoying the outdoors; from hiking and camping to sailing the waters. He also has a love for vintage Volkswagens.
Katrin Bergeron, MD
Dr. Bergeron joined Lamprey Health Care in 2007 as a Board Certified Family Physician. She is a graduate of Brown Medical School and completed her Family Medicine residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. Her areas of clinical interest included obstetrics and pediatrics. Dr. Bergeron is Board Certified in Integrative and Holistic Medicine and is also a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) prescriber. “I enjoy helping patients make positive changes to lead healthier lives.” Dr. Bergeron is interested in how emotional and spiritual health impacts our physical well being.
IN MY FREE TIME: “You can find me raising my four children or running with my husband.”
Mary Braun, MD
Internal Medicine Physician
Dr. Braun joined Lamprey Health Care in 2017 as a Board Certified Internal Medicine doctor. She also has a specialty level qualification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She received her degree from the University of Minnesota and completed her residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. “I love getting to know my patients as people and helping them make decisions that are right for them based on their values and preferences in the context of their families and physical health.” Her areas of clinical interest include palliative care, chronic disease management, complex medical patients, and hospice. Dr. Braun also sees patients at our Raymond Center.
IN MY FREE TIME: “I enjoy hiking and cross country skiing as well as being with my family, including my dog. I am interested in philosophy and have written on Stoicism and Mindfulness. I have also spoken publicly on aspects of palliative care, as well as what I’ve learned about being a doctor from being a patient.”
Heidi Crusberg, MD
Dr. Crusberg joined Lamprey Health Care in 1998 as a Board Certified Family Physician. After graduating from Vanderbilt University, she attended The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where she received her M.D. She completed her family practice residency at The University of Colorado Health Sciences in Lafayette, CO. Dr. Crusberg’s areas of clinical interest include supporting and educating patients on healthy lifestyle choices and chronic disease management. Dr. Crusberg also speaks Spanish.
Cora Donahue, MS, APRN
Family Nurse Practitioner
Mrs. Donahue joined Lamprey Health Care in 2014 as a Family Nurse Practitioner, after completing an M.S. in Nursing from the University of New Hampshire and a B.S. in Nursing from the University of Southern Maine. Mrs. Donahue has a passion for getting kids moving. Her clinical area of interest is childhood obesity, and she is a strong advocate for healthy eating and exercise. “I love helping patients meet their health goals! Preventative practice helps patients feel great and live longer, healthier lives.” In her free time, she is an avid runner and proud wife and mother of two active children.
DID YOU KNOW? Mrs. Donahue was inducted into the Hall of Fame for soccer at the University of Southern Maine.
Cheryl Hutchinson, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Family Nurse Practitioner, NP Fellowship Program
Ms. Hutchinson joined Lamprey Health Care in September 2020 as part of our Nurse Practitioner Fellowship Program. She graduated from Simmons University in Boston with a M.S. in Nursing and completed her undergraduate degree at Excelsior College in Albany, NY. “I appreciate being a part of the families in my community and helping them make healthy decisions to live life to the fullest.” Ms. Hutchinson’s areas of focus are preventative health, managing chronic disease, and wound care.
IN MY FREE TIME: “I love camping, hiking, and gardening. I also enjoy spending time with my 100 lb lovable pitbull and 2 rabbits.”
Susan Nichols, PA-C, CAQ Psychiatry
Ms. Nichols joined Lamprey Health Care in 2006. as a Physician Assistant. She received her Bachelor in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts, and her Physician Assistant Certificate from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Ms. Nichols is proficient in Spanish, and her areas of clinical interest are pediatrics, diabetes, and women’s health. She is also a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) prescriber. “I enjoy empowering my patients and teaching them how to use physical activity as a means of longevity.”
IN MY FREE TIME: “You can find me biking, skiing, or enjoying the company of my two amazing daughters.”
Kimberley Chase O’Mahoney, APRN, FNP-BC
Family Nurse Practitioner and Fellowship Program Faculty Preceptor
Ms. O’Mahoney joined Lamprey Health Care in 2019 as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Faculty Preceptor for our Nurse Practitioner Fellowship Program. She received her degree from the University of Southern Maine in Portland, ME. Ms. O’Mahoney’s areas of interest include pediatrics and development, adolescent care, and mentoring. “I enjoy working in a community-based healthcare center and providing care to those who may not receive it otherwise.” Ms. O’Mahoney’s practice focus is on wellness, prevention, and acknowledging the whole person or family as it related to care.
IN MY FREE TIME: “I love to read, spend time with my family, and entertain. In summer, there is always sand between my toes. You can take the girl out of California, but you can’t take the California out of the girl.”
Sirona Pruna, MD, FACOG – OB/GYN
Dr. Pruna joined Lamprey Health Care in 2006 as a Board Certified OB/GYN. She graduated from the University of Medicine, Timisoara, Romania. Dr. Pruna completed her residency programs at the University of Medicine Carol Davilla Obstetrics and Gynecology in Romania and the University of South Alabama, Obstetrics and Gynecology in Mobile, AL. She spent over 15 years practicing in Romania and speaks Romanian and French. Dr. Pruna’s clinical interests include Obstetrical Care, including high-risk patients and working with patients with endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, pelvic prolapse repair, and urinary incontinence procedures. Dr. Pruna is also seeing patients in our Raymond Center.
Caille Souza Roy, MS, APRN, FNP-BC
Family Nurse Practitioner
Ms. Roy joined Lamprey Health Care in 2018 as a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner as part of our second Nurse Practitioner Fellowship class. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of New Hampshire in Health Management Policy and Public Health, and a Master of Science Degree from the University of Massachusetts Graduate School of Nursing. Ms. Roy’s practice includes a holistic approach, and she is also a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) prescriber. Her areas of interest are patient empowerment, family-centric care, and guiding patients to make informed decisions. “Being a Nurse Practitioner, especially in Family Practice, I can best experience and share both the art and science of healthcare and its delivery.”
IN MY FREE TIME: “I enjoy watching Investigation Discovery shows, knitting, and being active – especially biking and walking. I also love ice cream and make a great sundae!”
Saira Tekelenburg, MD
Dr. Tekelenburg joined Lamprey Health Care in 2019 as a Family Physician. She received her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and completed a family practice residency at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, ME. Dr. Tekelenburg’s areas of interest include obstetrics, women’s health, preventive care, and office-based procedures. “I love getting to know my patients and caring for their entire family. I’m a strong believer in meeting people where they are, and taking small steps towards healthier, happier lives.” Dr. Tekelenburg is a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) provider and is accepting new patients at our Newmarket Center.
WHAT I LOVE: “I love being outside, whether it’s hiking, skiing, or walking with my dog. I also enjoy curling up with a good book and spending time with friends. I’m currently trying to learn how to watercolor (it’s a work in progress).”
Isabel Watts, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Family Nurse Practitioner, NP Fellowship Program
Ms. Watts will join Lamprey Health Care in September 2020 as part of our Nurse Practitioner Fellowship Program. She graduated from MGH Institute of Health Professions with a BSN and MSN in Family Nurse Practitioner studies. “I love nursing because it combines compassionate care with scientific thinking and problem-solving. I enjoy building collaborative relationships with patients and making them feel heard, believed, and supported.” Ms. Watts’ areas of clinical interest include preventative medicine, patient education, pediatrics, and integrated behavioral health care. She is also training in mindfulness techniques for stress reduction and is proficient in Spanish, working towards fluency.
IN MY FREE TIME: “I love to cook, garden and hike and love to spend as much time as possible with animals.”
